Thank you for your interest in the ICJ Committee. As this is an advanced committee with a heightened level of difficulty and debate, interested delegates are required to complete this supplementary application to demonstrate their interest in this committee.

 

HOW TO APPLY

 1) Please ensure that you are already registered for NAMUN 2019 as part of a school delegation or as an independent delegate.  While we do not require confirmation of your delegation's payment before applying for the ICJ, we do expect that arrangements have already been made and are under way.

2) Complete this following application form for consideration vis. the ICJ committee.

 

The deadline to complete ICJ Judge application is January 11th, 2019.

ICJ JUDGE APPLICATION

Judges will hear the arguments of advocates, deliberate evidence and arguments, and write judgments in the contentious case, Ukraine v. Russian Federation (Application of the Int’l Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and of the Int’l Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination).

This can include past conferences, awards, leadership within the Model UN community, experiences which utilize diplomacy and debate skills, or any other experience you believe to be relevant. Can be at the secondary level or collegiate level.
I understand that the Ad-Hoc committee is an advanced committee in which delegates do not know the committee topic beforehand and do not receive their delegate information until the conference. *

The Francophone Committee is an advanced committee, which seeks to challenge delegates to fully utilize Model UN skills. Due to the heightened level of difficulty and debate, interested delegates are required to complete this supplementary application to demonstrate their interest in this committee.
