Positions available: 1
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week, 10+ hours the weeks leading up to the conference
Reports to: Editor-in-Chief, The Emissary
The Senior Copy Editor will review and edit all written work that will be produced for The Emissary to ensure that everything published is at the highest academic quality. From reports on committees to socials to interviews, the Senior Copy Editor should be well versed in all topics. Ideal candidates are collaborative, interested in journalism or creative writing, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The Emissary Senior Copy Editor is expected to:
Publish articles reporting on NAMUN 2025 events and proceedings
Participate in and observe training sessions, staff and delegate events and other NAMUN-related happenings throughout the year
Help update The Emissary and different social media platforms throughout the year
Attend bi-weekly meetings with the Editor in Chief (from October to February)
Be present for the entirety of the conference
Prior experience with journalism is recommended.

Reports to: Co-Directors of Communications & Design
The Senior Videographer will bring NAMUN to life in a new way through dynamic video content. They will plan, create and develop video content in collaboration with the Co-Directors of Communications & Design. Ideal candidates should have great storytelling skills and be creative, organized, and interested in developing their videography skills in a high-paced environment.
The Senior Videographer is expected to:
Create regular video content that can be shared on NAMUN's social media
Oversee the content of the Videographers
Document training sessions, staff events and other NAMUN-related happenings throughout the year
Attend bi-weekly meetings with the Directors (from October to February)
Be present for the entirety of the conference
Prior videographer experience is recommended.

Time Commitment:1-2 hours per week, 10+ hours the weeks leading up to the conference.
Reports to: Editor-in-Chief, The Emissary
The Senior Graphic Designer will aid in the creation and implementation of The Emissary magazine, as well as graphic content for NAMUN 2026 as a whole. Through developing layouts, creating graphics and implementing innovative ideas, the Senior Graphic Designer will be able to bring to life a creative vision for The Emissary and for the conference itself. Ideal candidates are creative, able to work in a fast-paced environment and interested in developing new skills.
Graphic Designers are expected to:
Create a graphic vision for NAMUN 2026 alongside the Editor-in-Chief for The Emissary
Develop graphic content for The Emissary, such as but not limited to magazine pages and social media posts
Create pages for The Emissary magazine and blog, as well as the NAMUN website
Participate in and observe training sessions, staff and delegate events and other NAMUN-related happenings throughout the year
Be present for the entirety of the conference
Experience with Canva Pro and/or Adobe Creative Suite is recommended.

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week
Reports to: Senior Videographer, C&D Directors, C&D Coordinator
NAMUN’s photographers and videographers are the eyes of the conference, tirelessly documenting committee proceedings, social events, and moments throughout the conference. They provide delegates with the opportunities to relive their experiences and memories at NAMUN 2024 during and after the conference. Ideal candidates should be organized, responsible, and interested in developing their event photography and videography skills in a fast-paced environment.
Photographers and Videographers are expected to:
Produce and edit video and photo content to strengthen the NAMUN brand leading up to the conference (e.g. plan, film and edit NAMUN trailers and promotional content)
Document training sessions, staff events and other NAMUN-related happenings throughout the year
Edit the photographs or videos produced during the conference
Watermark all content with the NAMUN logo
Attend monthly meetings with the Senior Videographer
Be present for the entirety of the conference
Previous photography or videography experience is recommended but not required. Please specify if you have a preference for photography or videography.
