Emissary Staff Positions
Applications for NAMUN 2026 Emissary Staff are now open. You must be a registered undergraduate or graduate student any University in the Greater Toronto Area to be eligible to apply. We encourage all interested students to apply. Applications are being accepted on a Rolling Basis.

THE EMISSARY POSITIONS

Positions available: 6
Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week during peak times
Reports to: Senior Graphic Designer, C&D Directors, C&D Coordinator, Editor-in-Chief, The Emissary
Graphic Designers will aid in the creation and implementation of The Emissary magazine, as well as graphic content for NAMUN 2026 as a whole. Through developing layouts, creating graphics and implementing innovative ideas, Graphic Designers will be able to bring to life a creative vision for The Emissary and for the conference itself. Ideal candidates are creative, able to work in a fast-paced environment and interested in developing new skills.
Graphic Designers are expected to:
Develop graphic content for The Emissary, such as but not limited to logos, magazine pages, and social media posts
Participate in and observe training sessions, staff and delegate events and other NAMUN-related happenings throughout the year
Be present for the entirety of the conference
Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva Pro is recommended.

Reports to: C&D Directors, C&D Coordinator
NAMUN’s photographers and videographers are the eyes of the conference, tirelessly documenting committee proceedings, social events, and moments throughout the conference. They provide delegates with the opportunities to relive their experiences and memories at NAMUN 2026 during and after the conference. Ideal candidates should be organized, responsible, and interested in developing their event photography and videography skills in a fast-paced environment.
Photographers and Videographers are expected to:
Produce and edit video and photo content to strengthen the NAMUN brand leading up to the conference (e.g. plan, film and edit NAMUN trailers and promotional content)
Document training sessions, staff events and other NAMUN-related happenings throughout the year
Edit the photographs or videos produced during the conference
Watermark all content with the NAMUN logo
Be present for the entirety of the conference
Previous photography or videography experience is recommended but not required. Please specify if you have a preference for photography or videography.
