Director of Equity

• Reports to the Secretary-General

• Leads the development of an equity training program for academic and operations staff, including independent training for Secretariat members

• Generates a standardized template for equity warnings in background guides

• Improves platforms for staff and delegate feedback regarding equity concerns or questions

• Edits the NAMUN Equity Policy and works to improve the Code of Conduct

• Responsible for navigating equity questions from staff and delegates through conference preparation and during the conference

Chief of Staff

• Reports to the Secretary-General 

• Oversees the fall and summer hiring processes alongside the Deputy Secretary-General, Content

• Previous Model UN experience is highly recommended

• Improves platforms for staff feedback

• Promotes staff integration initiatives

• Oversees the activities of the Deputy Chief of Staff 

• Acts as chief liaison to all academic staff

Co-Director of Procedures & Training (2)

• Reports to the Deputy Secretary-General, Content

• Oversees the drafting of NAMUN 2025 Rules of Procedure

• Responsible for the management and training of Moderators

• Plan and conduct weekly training sessions for Chairs and Moderators

• Coordinates with the relevant academic directors to ensure that Crisis Analysts periodically attend crisis training 

• Prepares a detailed training curriculum for submission to the Deputy Secretary-General, Content

• Assists in the procedural training of all other academic staff where necessary

• Holds 1 branch social

Director of General Assemblies

• Reports to the Deputy Secretary-General, Content

• Oversees and coordinates the selection of General Assemblies Committees

• Responsible for the management and training of General Assemblies staff

• Ensures that all background guides and briefing papers are submitted to the Deputy Secretary-General, Content

• Coordinates writing workshops for chairs to ensure high-quality academic content

• Required to attend Procedures and Training sessions periodically

• Holds 1 branch social

Director of Specialized Agencies

• Reports to the Deputy Secretary-General, Content

• Oversees and coordinates the selection of Specialized Agencies Committees

• Responsible for the management and training of Specialized Agencies staff

• Ensures that all background guides and briefing papers are submitted to the Deputy Secretary-General, Content

• Coordinates writing workshops for chairs to ensure high-quality academic content

• Leads the planning and operation of all crisis-based simulations in the Specialized Agencies

• Holds 1 branch social

Director of Crisis Committees

• Reports to the Deputy Secretary-General, Content

• Oversees and coordinates the selection of the Integrated Simulation and Joint Crisis Committees

• Responsible for the management and weekly training of the Crisis Committees staff

• Ensures that all background guides and briefing papers are submitted to the Deputy Secretary-General, Content

• Coordinates writing workshops for chairs to ensure high-quality academic content

• Leads the planning and operation of all crisis-based simulations in the Crisis Committees

• Holds 1 branch social

Director of Logistics

• Reports to the Deputy Secretary-General, Operations

• Leads all fundraising and partnerships for the conference

• Coordinates marketing efforts

• Produces and edits a NAMUN 2025 Sponsorship Package to be distributed to sponsors

• Assists the Deputy Secretary-General, Operations in organizing social events for the 2025 conference season

• Responsible for the management and training of Corporate Relations Coordinator

Co-Director of Communications and Design (2)

• Reports to the Deputy Secretary-General, Operations

• Manages the branding and visibility of NAMUN 2025 

• Responsible for the management of the NAMUN website

• Designs all branded content for the conference website, background guides, delegate handbook, and other conference materials

• Runs NAMUN’s social media platforms

• Maintains a sustained videography portfolio throughout the year and explores new multi-media that expand NAMUN’s visibility

• Coordinates with the Director of Corporate Relations on marketing efforts

• Coordinates with the Editor-in-Chief of the Emissary to oversee its production

• Responsible for the management and training of the Communications and Design Coordinator
