When and where does the NAMUN conference take place?

NAMUN 2026 runs February 19–21, 2026 at the University of Toronto (downtown campus). A detailed day-by-day schedule (venues, timings) will be released closer to the conference; expect check-in and Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, followed by committee sessions, social events (Pub Night, Semi-Formal), and Closing Ceremonies on Saturday. 

What is the registration timeline and fees?

Early Bird Registration: September 10, 2025 - October 23, 2025

Regular Registration: October 24, 2025 - December 24, 2025

  • Individual delegate fee: CAD115

  • Delegation fee: CAD 80

Late Registration: December 25, 2025 - January 25, 2026

Where do I submit my position paper?

Position papers are submitted to your committee email, please do not submit position papers on MyMun. Committee-specific guidance and formatting requirements will appear in your background guide. If you have questions about your committee emails, contact the academic team at dsgc@namun.org

Can NAMUN issue invitations or visa support letters for international delegates?

Due to legal constraints, NAMUN cannot issue invitation or visa support letters for the 2026 conference. Please consult the Government of Canada’s official visa/eTA requirements and apply well in advance, as processing times vary by country. We recommend traveling with documentation such as your conference registration confirmation and accommodation details. NAMUN is unable to liaise with embassies or immigration authorities on individual cases. For questions, contact external@namun.org.

How can we register?

How to register on MyMUN?

  1. Create/log in to your MyMUN account.

  2. Open the NAMUN 2026 conference page and choose Apply.

  3. Select Delegation or Individual Delegate and complete the form.
    Submit your application and follow MyMUN’s prompts to manage invoices and payment.

What is the refund policy?

NAMUN 2026 will issue a full refund upon request prior to December 24th, 2025. From December 24th, 2025 to January 25th, 2026 refunds will constitute 50% of the original purchase. Any refund requests submitted after January 25th, 2026 will not be accepted. In accordance with our Delegate Equity Policy, in case of sickness or other extreme circumstances, please contact our Equity Director at equity@namun.org as soon as possible.

Please note that all refunds will not include the 7% fee required to cover our use of MyMun.

How does NAMUN 2026 handle refunds in the event of weather-related disruptions (e.g., snowstorms)?

NAMUN 2026 will proceed as scheduled on February 19–21, 2026. In accordance with our Weather Cancellation Policy, refunds are not available to delegations or individual delegates who choose not to attend due to weather-related circumstances (e.g., snowstorms, flight cancellations, or transit disruptions). We encourage teams to plan conservatively, monitor travel advisories, and consider travel insurance. For logistical questions or documentation you may need for airlines or hotels, please contact external@namun.org

Is there financial support? Are there any flights or hotel accommodations?

Financial assistance is available through NAMUN’s Financial Aid Program, which may reduce delegate, delegation, and processing fees on a case-by-case basis. The application window runs from September 10 to December 24, 2025, and applicants must be registered on MyMUN before applying. Full program details and the application form will be released when registration opens. For accommodation, a Courtyard by Marriott Toronto group block is available to registered, paid groups; the private booking link is issued upon invoice settlement, and the group rate cut-off is Monday, January 5, 2026.
